Case Study #1

Corn Harvester Shipment to China

Oversized cargo shipments come with challenges and this project was no different. The challenge we faced when preparing this shipment was the harvester wheelbase was greater than the 40’ flat rack base and thus we had to design special blocks to ensure the safety of the cargo while in transit to China. In addition, the customer requested the unit to be tarped to protect the cargo from the elements. We not only managed to meet our customer’s requirements, but we also delivered the unit on time and budget.

Case Study #2

John Deere Tractor to Cambodia

This shipment took place in the midst of a trucking crisis in the USA (April 2018). With new ELD mandates in its infancy stage, trucker shortage and capacity was at critical levels. However, due to our connections in the industry, we were able to get this cargo picked up, loaded/secured and shipped to Cambodia in time to meet our customer’s requirements and on budget.

Case Study #3

Aluminum Conduit Reel Project From India

During the height of COVID 19, Veritas Global was entrusted to manage the importation, customs clearance, transloading, and delivery of 1,500 Aluminum Conduit Reels (imported in 500 x 40’ HC Containers) to support a Telecommunications project in the Mountain region of USA. These shipments originated in India and arrived in Houston, TX and Los Angeles, CA ports. This project proved to be a significant challenge due to the lack of truck capacity in the USA during this time. However, despite the adversity, Veritas delivered on its promises. All parties involved were grateful for our services and expectations were exceeded. Our goal of customer satisfaction was achieved.

Case Study #4

Tomato Harvester Shipment To Israel

Shipment challenges come in all shapes and sizes and this shipment was no different. Veritas Global was tasked with shipping a Tomato Harvester to Israel in February 2023. This unit measured 481” x 137” x 144” and the issue became immediately clear, how do we safely ship a piece that is greater than the interior length of a 40’ Flat Rack container. With the great help of our partners involved and the steamship line, we were able to make it happen. We removed the Flat Rack end walls and shipped the unit to Israel without affecting our client’s budget. This was a great success. Veritas Global has exported many Harvesting Equipment pieces in our history and this goes down as one of the more rewarding shipments in recent memory.

Case Study #5

Drill Rig Shipment To Chile

When it comes to going above and beyond the call of duty for our customers, we will do what it takes to ensure success. Veritas Global was recently requested to ship an oversized Drill Rig to Chile. No problem, we said, we have handled such shipments many times. However, this Drill Rig needed to be Heat Shrink-Wrapped for export to protect the technical components from the ocean air. The Drill Rig measured 432” x 96” x 126” with a weight of 40,700 lbs and thus the challenge. We worked closely with our warehouse partners and were able to meet our customer requirements. The shipment went without a hitch and was delivered on time and on budget.

Case Study #6

Import Oversized Project From UK To Mobile, Al USA

Veritas Global has extensive experience and expertise in handling oversize cargo. In the Fall of 2023 we were called upon to coordinate the Import transloading and delivery of 5 x 40' OOG Flat Racks and 1 x 40' OT. The cargo was part of a larger Oil and Gas project. The challenge was timing, the cargo was late in arriving and thus we had to transload and deliver all cargo in a 24 hour period once it discharged. With the help of our strategic partners and carriers we were able to meet our customers requirements and all cargo was delivered on time without exceeding budgetary expecations. This is one of many similar projects that Veritas Global has handled.
